(There's supposed to be a quest late in the game where you find him doing exactly that, trying to atone and redeem himself, though the quest doesn't always fire there's a mod to fix it if you're on PC if you really care about doing the quest.)
If you release him and tell him you never want to see him again, he goes out and does good things, helping refugees, and so on. However in that Redcliffe prison cell he is such a whining, snivelling, irritating, obnoxious self-pitying fuckmuppet that I shanked him in the name of justice.ĭeep down I know he probably should have stood trial but I feared he'd escape again for a third encounter only to have to listen to more whining, moaning, sobbing and general spinelessness.įor those who were kinder of heart than I, what happens if you let this twerp live? When Jowan escaped I figured we'd meet again one day and I was determined to let him try and redeem himself. It kind of irritated me since my character would prefer a direct approach to this but I was following orders. Therefore when Jowan wanted to shirk his responsibilities for a booty call in the beginning I tricked Jowan to betray him. I'm generally helpful to people, however I despise self-serving people who throw the world into chaos for their own selfish aims.
I'm playing a kind of neutral good or lawful neutral mage loyal to the circle, although what my alignment is might be hard to pin down.
