Sira is largely taking orders, despite being very clearly disgruntled. Maiev is her usual level headed self, focusing on the task and hand and trying to keep things together. One such elf is the warden Sira Moonwarden, who accompanies Maiev Shadowsong and the Alliance PC to follow Tyrande when she rages out of Stormwind to invoke her ritual. There's also many Night Elves who express a disdain for going to Elune at all, and consider themselves forsaken by the goddess. Their morale is shattered and many are questioning their entire culture, including Tyrande, who invokes the forbidden ritual of the Night Warrior to demand Elune do something to protect them in a very spiteful tone. You get more of it alliance side than Horde side, and Darkshore zone does a lot to further these narratives if you pay attention to it.Įssentially, the burning of Teldrassil did a lot more damage to the Night Elves than just the obvious. There's plotlines here that go way deeper than that.
